Yeah yeah I know what you’re thinking – ‘but I’ve seen like a million hair tutorials and they are all more complicated than they look, take way too much time and require an extra 5 hands to put them together’! Agreed – what the heck are these people thinking?! Also there is this one chic, annoys the crap out of me, has luxurious, thick, dark hair that she twists and pins into elaborate place effortlessly with no hair spray – news flash most people don’t have that type/that much hair and thus your styles are impossible and useless. Gah this annoys me to no end!
Never fear dearies, these 5 easy hairstyles are tried and tested by yours truly and regardless of your hair type, I guarantee that any girl can can pull these off!
1.) Fancy Ponytail: Also good for when you don’t have time to wash your hair, tie it up and for a fancy twist grab afew strands of hair from the ponytail, wrap it around the pony tail and pin it underneath. Suitable for medium to long hair.
2.) Bun: tie your hair up in a ponytail and twist into a high bun atop your head or a low bun at the back of your head, add a little bow or sparkly accessory if you’re feeling sassy!
3.) Ballet bun: Buy a donut spongy thing (they are everywhere), thread your ponytail through it and then tip your head forward and spread your hair over the sponge, add a large hair tie over it to hold and twist the remaining hair around and pin. (If your hair does not cover the spongy thing, then the spongy thing you have chosen is too large, buy the small one.)
4.) Straighten and go: Just let it out, wash, dry and straighten your hair the night before and in the morning just brush into place and go. If your hair is super crazy in the morning again, just re-straighten a little (much quicker if it’s already mostly straight).
5.) Straighten and go plus fancy pinback: ok so same as above, but if you’re like me and hate having your hair flop in your face when you’re working, pin it back. Either twist it back and pin, pin it under your hair to the side or if you’re feeling super fancy pin half your hair up.
