With the dawn of 2017, we are expecting great things to come out of this year. From Trump taking over as President of America to NASA taking pictures of Saturn like never before, its surely going to be one hell of a year. It promises to be one in the world of entertainment too! We had a few blockbusters last year, from 50 shades of Grey to Fantastic Beasts and Deadpool. This year promises to give us some equally cool movie releases, especially hotly anticipated movie sequels. Hence here are the 5 most anticipated movie sequels that we will see over the course of 2017!
5. Fast 8
The last addition to the fast and furious franchise left each and every human in the cinema teary eyed with the departure of our beloved Paul Walker. Hence a lot of us are anxiously waiting to see the first ever Fast and Furious movie without him. Let’s see how it goes. Hint hint : Someone apparently turns their back on someone….
4. Logan
The final Wolverine movie…. set in 2024 tells the story of Logan being hunted by sinister forces. And we get to see our very own Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again!
3. Guardian of the galaxy vol. 2
More of Groot! Isn’t that a good enough reason on its own? We will also see the origins of Quill. Sure gonna be a good continuation in the story of these superheroes.
2. Fifty shades darker
After everything that Christian Grey and Miss Steele went through in the first blockbuster, doesn’t everyone want to see how their relationship progresses… After reading all the books (or not) and witnessing the interesting “passion” they shared…we just have to wait and see how it goes.. After all, Grey is pretty good at playing the waiting game eh?
1. Resident evil: The Final Chapter
It all ends here….The final movie that sees Alice fighting to save the last remaining survivors from the zombie apocalypse. What will be the result of one last strike by Umbrella? You’ll have to wait and see.
This year is definitely going to be busy in terms of cinema visits.
