We have exciting news for all Highland Dance schools who are interested in having a jacket that is unique for their style of dance! Exodus Wear now has Tartan as another option to our range. We have hundreds of tartan materials in stock and can even source specific tartan to your needs. If you want a more modern option or even your own unique tartan we can print tartan designs onto 100% polyester. For those not sure of what Tartan is, it is a pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours. Tartans originated in woven wool, but now they are made in many other materials. Tartan is particularly associated with Scotland and Ireland.
Tartan is normally worn by Highland dancers as part of their costume. Having tartan as an option for your dance jacket or tracksuit is a great tie in. At Exodus Wear we are aware that costumes are considered important for stage presence but what better way to stand out in the crowd then with a custom designed jacket incorporating the tartan worn throughout the costumes!
