Oh, my! It’s only 3 weeks until the final exams and the 14 students are feeling the stress. Chelsea starts planning her future at the sacrifice of her current studies and Shianna is confronted with an obstacle when looking at her university options.

Shianna’s Life Decisions

Shianna seeks advice from her school careers advisor, as she is finding it hard to choose what university degree she wants to apply for. Her careers advisor organises a tour of one of the universities she wants to attend and she’s nervous but hopeful. Shianna is excited as she prepares to fly to Sydney and visit the universities she applied to.

Shianna has a meeting with a representative from UNSW and realises that she wants to study there.

Zoe’s Good News and Stress

Zoe gets some amazing results back from her most recent exams! In nearly all her recent assignments and tests, she’s gotten the top of her class. She toys with the idea of being awarded the dux. Well done Zoe! She admits she wants to do well because she wants to become a psychologist or something else worth a high score.

However, later on in the episode Zoe feels overwhelmed and she says her head is all over the place. She can’t study. This it totally normal at this stage of the year! The daunting prospect of the final exams is a constant weight on students shoulders and the pressure of performing well can be unbearable.

Chelsea’s Future

Chelsea is looking forward to the future. She admits that she will work under at university at school. She says that she is looking forward to distancing herself with her current friends, away from the politics of her friendship groups. She is excited to hang around with people she genuinely likes. Chelsea couldn’t be more right. You find your friends for life at university!

Chelsea says she also wants to focus on her music career. She and her friend Melody decide to go their separate ways and focus on their solo music career. She’s excited to develop her own label next year.
