Zoe’s Boy Woes
For most young adult’s, the final year can be a tumultuous, emotional rollercoaster and not just because your heavy workload and pressure of exams. With most students coming to age and discovering their sexuality, the want for attention emotionally and physically can be overwhelming. The episode focuses on Zoe’s interaction with her longtime crush and the uncertainty she faces when she tells him her feelings. After the boy in question is indecisive about his own feelings towards her, she is left emotionally confused and drained.
Ben’s Volunteering
Filmed around the 2016 election, this episode also focuses around ben from Victoria volunteering. The issue focuses around the detachment of youth when it comes to politics and voting, and how most of the fourteen students, if they are enrolled, would vote for who their parents vote for. Ben is at first, a little indecisive at who to vote for, but then chooses the Liberals.
Eden’s Education
This episode, Eden, a creative and practical learner, raises the concerns of the HSC year and ATAR system. She argues that everybody shouldn’t have to feel the pressure they currently do to accomplish and ATAR and have your whole early-life and career based around your ATAR. She outlines how everybody as a different learning style and doesn’t understand why everybody as to be taught the same way. When she seeks counsel from her school as she decides to not attain an ATAR she feel immense pressure to strive to go to university, even though she doesn’t see herself attending university.
