This is undoubtedly one of the greatest high school movies of all times. And it shouldn’t need an introduction. Kids of different backgrounds, put together in one room for detention and what happens following that. It was the movie of choice for a lot of high school movie nights. So do yourself a favour and watch it if you haven’t done so already. You won’t regret it I promise.

Most of these movies have reached the status of a cult classic for generations. Put together, they address most elements of high school life (from formals to graduations to the popular kids in school). And as we know it, though the movies might not be an accurate depiction of the real life horrors and fairy tales of high schools, we wouldn’t have made it through those fragile years without them. They gave us ideas on how we could possibly react to high school situations. We turned to these movies when we needed comfort, or simply when we just needed to be alone with Sandy and Danny (get up to date with the movie references guys).
