The students at Caper School of Performing Arts located in Bella Vista, NSW are a very talented group of dancers. In the last 12 months they have won twice at the Sydney Eisteddfod. After their first win they approached our company about getting some custom made jackets for their winning troupe. They had won some prize money at the Eisteddfod and made the decision to put it towards custom dance jackets. We wanted to make the jackets as special for them as possible and so we came up with the idea of printing a collage of photos in the lining which included photos from their performance and photos of them on stage accepting their trophy. They loved the idea and so we produced the following jackets for them:
Now almost a year later they have returned from the 2013 Sydney Eisteddfod with yet another win under their belt. The took out first place in the under-12 jazz dance section with a routine called The Wild Ones. Our initials jackets had proven so popular that the troupe who won this year also decided to spend their prize money on custom jackets. They even printed a photo collage inside the lining with all the photos from their win. This is the collage we put together for them:
At the same time many of the dancers from troupes who had not been lucky enough to win at the Sydney Eisteddfod asked if it would be possible for them to buy a jacket also. As the jackets were meant to be a special memento for the dancers in the troupes we came up with the idea of having a jacket with a generic lining that just had the Caper School of Performing Arts logo repeat printed into a pattern. They loved this idea and many of the dancers purchased this jacket in the hope that one day they will replace it with one that has a custom photo lining showing their win at an Eisteddfod.
