If you follow us on facebook you most likely would have seen that we have done some jackets for celebrities recently with denim sleeves. On Kyle Sandilands jacket we used navy blue denim sleeves and for Justice Crew we used a red snakeskin patterned denim for the jackets they wore on the One Direction Tour.
What we didn’t tell you was that we were secretly testing out our denim so that we would be able to offer it on our school jackets. The first school to order denim sleeves was Moorebank High School and their pre-production sample just arrived. We think it turned out fantastic! They choose to have a metallic finish on the denim which gives the jacket a very retail look. They also had the school initials and the number on the back appliqued in the same denim material we used for the sleeves which turned out really nice.
Denim sleeves are a great alternative to leather sleeves as they are a lot easier to care for. With leather you generally need to have it dry cleaned whereas you can still wash our jackets with denim sleeves in the washing machine. It is also a lot more cost effective option while still giving you a premium look.
We will have a whole range of coloured denim available so that you can match in with your school uniform and we hope to be able to offer a range of patterned denim in the near future.
